Tattoo photo#3 – Monkey on the back
It’s a good damn beautiful day in Copenhagen. Perfect for flashing your tattoo, which I succeed in persuading Anders (fellow blogger and twitter friend) to do. Here’s the results of my third tattoo photo – enter Anders and the monkey on his back.
Or rather the two monkeys. Inspired by the song ‘Boys’ by Ryan Adams and the line “I´m as lonely as monkeys taught to destroy – Anything they learn to enjoy” Anders wanted two monkeys, one that represented indulgence and another that represented destruction. Together an image on male restlessness. Notice the eyes in the tree looking out – they are exact opposite the monkeys’ eyes. Very cool.
The tattoo is done by Tim from Tato Svend – and that scores a lot of points in my book as Tato Svend is one of the real hard-core Nyhavn tattoo studios in Copenhagen. The drawing was done by Specktors. Anders is well underway with the planning of his next tattoo. He just needs to find the right artist, which can intrepret one of his alltime hobbies – fishing.
