I’m still on the quest to do a self-portrait. You have seen my shoes. You have seen the content of my bag. Now for the first time – EVER – you get to see … me!
Self-portraits can easily become a cliche, but still – today I decided to give it another, more conventional try. Once again, my living room was turned into some kind of studio. As I swear to natural lightning it was a bit tough getting the right kind of light on this raining afternoon. A sheet turned out to be the perfect bouncher for the meaker light. As I still haven’t got a remote for the self-timer, my darling boyfriend, Allan P, agreed to act as my remote self-timer – THX!
Lessons learned from today’s experience – it’s pretty darn hard doing a self-portrait. I hate to look at pictures of myself. It’s a pain in the ass to instruct yourself and it’s pretty annoying that you have to constantly move to find out how the picture turned out. I’m not happy about the shadow that my hand makes, but the picture do have some kind of serene feeling that is very me. So all in all, my quest of doing a new self-portrait is still not done, but this is certainly a step on the way. Some day I’ll get there.
Ziggy,
It’s a stunning picture.

Thx, Clown!
