Looking through lenses
I love photography. I don’t do it nearly enough. That is, take pictures. Amongst other, I’m inspired by and admire William Eggleston (fucking genius), Annie Leibovitz (she might be a diva, but she’s spectacular), Helmut Newton (so funny), Sally Mann (talk about intimacy) and Pere et Gilles (talk about styling)
I have a Canon Rebel. Plus an analog Canon and an analog Nikon (which I NEVER use – I’m a Canon girl and true to my brand). My favorite lens is a 30 mm Sigma. My favorite aperture is 2.8. I always shoot with a fixed lens and I never use flash. I no technical genius in even the slightest meaning of the word. I’m a sucker for compositions and hope that I’m always – somehow – telling a story with my photos. Oh yeah, and then I LOVE Hipstamatic.
